The Wilderness

A sci-fi story set in the future when humans no longer occupy Earth. Marin, a nobody who works at an archival center on a spaceship, discovers a collection of artifacts from Earth that shows her what life used to be like in the past.

Then, a voice speaks to her over a walkie-talkie: "Can anyone hear me?"
